More sad news
It is with great sadness to give people the news of the passing of former Romsey player Sam Arthur at the age of just 34. Sam followed in his father, Simon’s, bootsteps playing for Romsey 1st team in the back row up until 2015 before departing to Eastleigh. He did return on a couple of occasions for the Vets and Second team. A mobile flanker Sam also had the ability to play in the center as well and was one of the nicest people ever on a rugby pitch.
Sam’s funeral will be at Romsey Abbey on Thursday 9th March at 12.30pm
